2007 Christmas cards for Cruma.
On the project we highlighted their eco-conscious philosophy and statement and between us (the company director and me) developed a 100% recycled and recyclable calendar using photographs from the Barcelona area and including mountains, nature etc. I remember Alex, the director, told me that he was an amateur photographer, so we thought it was a good and natural idea if he produced a Polaroid nature series, almost all of them being plants to represent the "air cleaner" concept in a natural way.
The image intention and approach we tried to keep is a human and not-so-perfect style (faraway from image banks, or “corporate” images).
We chose recyclable papers and water-based inks, this calander was intended to be seen daily by the customers, so we tried to reach a human and non-corporative natural finish as a statement.
